The Millionaire Next Door

The Millionaire Next Door takes an in depth look at a large cross section of America’s wealthy, particularly those with at least $1,000,000 in net assets. It doesn’t mention names etc, but focuses on their habits and philosophies in regard to life style and financial success. It gives a character description of the typical millionaire, and then breaks up in percentages who does what, why, and how.

A great book that gets you thinking about how you could change little or a lot of your living habits etc, with the view of increasing your financial wealth and success.

Much of the information comes from a study conducted from May 1995 through to January 1996, where wealthy participants were asked a series of questions ranging from ” household budget planning or lack of it to financial fears and worries, and from methods of bargaining when purchasing automobiles to the categories of financial gifts, or “acts of kindness,” wealthy people give to their adult children”.
